Seat allocation

The seat allocation per country is defined in accordance with the World Mahjong Organization. For EMA member countries, the seat allocation is defined according to EMA Quotas, as defined in this page : http://mahjong-europe.org/ranking/BasicsQuotas.html.

The official quotas for the WMC 2019 will be published on this page from May 1st, 2019 : http://mahjong-europe.org/ranking/quotas_MCR.html.

Registration process

The registration of players participating to WMC 2019 is managed by each national organization of represented countries. Each national organization or contact point shall centralize registration forms and registration fee of their participating players.

April 1st, 2019 : Officialization of quotas – First round of registration

On this date, the following quotas are officialized :
- Repartition of seats per country outside of EMA zone
- Total number of seats for EMA zone

For non-EMA countries

From April 1st, non-EMA countries can start registering their players to the WMC 2019.

For EMA countries

From April 1st, 2019, EMA members can communicate the list of interested players. However, the seat allocation within EMA countries will be defined on May 1st, 2019. From May 1st, 2019, EMA countries can officially register their players. Formal registration of EMA players will be accepted only after this date.

Registration of players

For the registration of players from a participating country to be complete, the following are mandatory :
- Recapitulative form
- Registration form of each participant and his ID photo
- Payment of the corresponding registration fee for participating players (in Euros)

When the list of participating players is complete - at latest on May 31st - the recapitulative form and individual forms must be sent to 6thwmc2019@gmail.com.

May 31st, 2019 : Deadline for first round of registration

At this date, if some provisioned seats are left vacant by a country, they shall be redistributed by WMO and EMA within countries that filled their quotas in the first round of registration.

June 1st, 2019 : Publishing of participants list on the WMC 2019 website

The list of participants registered to the WMC 2019 is published on wmc2019.mahjongclubdurhone.fr

June 1st, 2019 : Second round of registration

August 31st : End of registration process

Payment

Payment of registration fee must be coordinated by each national organization. Each national organization shall perform one transfer per round of registration.

Payment of registration fee must be proceed in Euros to avoid exchange rates.

In case of impossibility, Payment is made in US dollars, plus 2% to cover currency exchange rates.

Cancellation and refund

In case of registered player shall cancel his participation to the WMC 2019, the registered player must inform his national organization, who will try to find a replacement player.
If a replacement player is found, the national organization sends the corresponding individual form.
If no replacement player is found, the seat left vacant is reallocated to another country.
After October 1st, if no remplacement player is found, the registration fee is not reimbursed to the national organization.
